Often called the 8th Natural Wonder of the World, Monument Valley has magnificent red rock formations resembling many familiar objects and characters.

Located in the Navajo Tribal Park Monument Valley has a 17 mile dirt road that begins and ends at the Visitor Center of the tribal park allowing visitors to view the majestic rock formations up close. Monument Valley was the site of the John Ford film "Stage Coach", John Wayne westerns and countless other films and commercials, you're sure to recognize these distinct rock formations from some form of modern media.  Monument Valley is located 22 miles Southwest of Mexican Hat, Utah off US Highway 163.
